Got in mid avo on Friday, meet and greet, then relaxed for the rest of the day and Saturday. Bit of gardening and then made some porcelain xmas decorations.
Sunday we went for a drive into Cuneo for breakfast
then to a market in a nearby village
then up into the hills to a really lovely spot to visit some friends of theirs who run a goat farm and make cheese,
rounded that visit off with lunch - main course, goat. Finished the day off with a horse show and then home.
Finished the night off with showing them the Ipad and getting Adriano hooked on Angry Birds - such memorable mutterings as "must kill the pig" and "die piggy die"
Monday was market day in Bovis (a town nearby) so hit that to get the weekly vegies then more xmas decorations :-)
Tuesday was the big market day in Cuneo so Sasha and I went for a mission on the bus into town, got completely carried away with it so didn't get home until 5pm, and we were loaded up with bags! (now to fit it all in our packs... Hmmm
Had my first go at meat pies for dinner, steak and veggie even!
Wed was a day in bed for me while Sasha was super industrious making porcelain stars, watching bowls being turned, in the garden and picking up hints and ideas in the kitchen!
Thursday was another quiet day, I cooked roast pork belly for tea then into Cuneo for a stroll and gelato :-)
Today was a chilled out morning, Mince&cheese pies and pork&apple pies for lunch (nyum nyum) then hours spent trying to sort out how to get to Brittany tomorrow for the next part of our adventure, packing bags and then pizza for dinner - yes, we had one each.

Had a great time here, really felt like home away from home and will be sad to leave.
But now we head on to our next adventure...
